POLYSULFONE
(Download PDF document)

Polysulfone is an amorphous, transparent high performance thermoplastic which provides excellent dimensional stability, creep resistance, high flexural modulus and tensile strength. These properties are maintained at elevated temperatures and under continuous load. Polysulfone is autoclavable, resistant to steam and has low flammability and smoke emission levels. Applications include food processing, microwave, medical, cookware, appliance and components for pumps, cameras, watches and aerospace. There are numerous specialty (filled) formulations providing enhanced temperature, impact and wear resistance properties.
